The building's architecture fuses a traditional brick facade, covered with creeping vines from the east, with a modern, glazed exterior on the north-eastern side. Spacious viewing terraces give the place a light and diverse character. An exposition of old, authentic Chł-2 fishing boats and long decomissioned fishing gear and nets accentuates the traditional, maritime character and style.
Another element of the local tradition is a shrine to the Virgin Mary, devoted to the miraculous statue in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Swarzewo, Queen of the Sea. The facility is incorporated into the natural environment composed of old pines with fantastical crowns, formed by harsh sea winds, as well as aged birches and ash trees, with the most notable being a silver maple which qualifies as a natural monument. The flora also includes other trees, blooming shrubs and flowers. Oaken elements of sunken sailboats nad granite rocks retrieved from the sea were used to arrange the space, which is also home to a thriving herbal garden. From a botanical stand point, it is wonderful to experience the lush flora, which remains green the whole year round thanks to the sea, keeping the temperature on the cliff above zero in the winter. This unique microclimate allows a plethora of species to flourish, like buckthorn, broom, rowan, elder, blackberry, wild strawberry and many others.
